Tompkins Insurance Appoints Personal Lines Account Executive to Western New York Team

PITTSFORD, N.Y., August 11, 2018 – Laurie Walsh has joined Tompkins Insurance Agencies, Inc. as personal lines account executive. She is based in the Sully’s Trail office in Pittsford, N.Y.

In her new role, Walsh will be responsible for building client relationships, providing trusted service, and creating customized personal insurance solutions. She will primarily be serving clients in greater Rochester and Monroe County.

“We are excited to welcome Laurie to our western New York team,” said David Boyce, President, and CEO. “Her experience will serve our clients well and will be an important asset to our team.”

Walsh brings three years of experience in personal insurance sales, most recently working for Landmark Group of Brighton as an account executive. In this role, Walsh was responsible for creating client relationships and providing insurance that best served her clients.

Walsh earned her associate’s degree from Herkimer County Community College. A native of Herkimer, Walsh currently resides in Macedon with her husband and is a member of Rochester’s Women’s Network and Private Risk Management Association. In July, she achieved her Chartered Private Risk Insurance Advisor designation.
